NORTH BEAVER, Pa. (AP)—State police are investigating a pickup truck crash that killed a man who was thrown from the vehicle and critically injured his brother who was driving.
State troopers from the New Castle barracks say the crash happened about 10:20 a.m. Sunday along Route 168 in North Beaver in Lawrence County.
Police say the driver, 19-year-old Ryan O'Hara, of Beaver Falls, lost control of the truck and hit a pole along the berm.
He wasn't wearing a seatbelt and neither was his passenger and brother, 22-year-old Sean O'Hara, who was ejected from the vehicle.
The men were in a 1994 Ford Ranger.
Ryan O'Hara was still being treated Monday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh.
