Zetas raise $5,000 to fight cancer

November 11, 2008 NEW WILMINGTON, Lawrence County-- The totals are now in and Westminster sorority Zeta Tau Alpha raised over $5,000 for breast cancer research during it's annual Shoot for the Cause fundraiser. Sorority organizer Leigha Krivacek says the basketball tournament's cause is especially important to her.

"My grandmother has breast cancer and this was huge for me," Krivacek told TR News reporter Scott Lawrence. "The money helps touch the lives of people like my grandmother. She was also so excited and overwhelmed that we could raise so much money for this great cause."
