Witches Night Out in Volant

September 22, 2010VOLANT, Pa.- The merchants in Volant want to scare up some fun on Saturday, September 25, with a "Witches Night Out" to mark the beginning of autumn and to usher in the Halloween season.


Organizers say it's more of an event to bring families to the community rather than a marketing event.

Volant will celebrate it's annual Autumn Pumpkin Festival on Saturday & Sunday, October 9 and 10.

Witches Night Out, Oct. 25 (Saturday)
Assemble at dusk for a wickedly fun night (5-9pm)! Shop our spooktacularly transformed town for all your seasonal décor. Enjoy tantalizing treats and mystery sales. Also enjoy Story-Time by the Fire and a Barn-Side scary movie. Enter our contests; best dressed adult witches, children and pet Halloween costume judging as well.


Pumpking Festival, Oct. 9 & 10
Volant is the place to be for peak autumn color! Enjoy the sights and smells of the season viewing craft demonstrations. The days events will include apple butter making demo, pumpkin decorating for the kids, a chili cook-off, a harvest market, and much more. It will be an enjoyable day for all.
