Hounds Hunt Down Win at Titusville

October 23, 2009TITUSVILLE, Pa.- Wilmington's football squad traveled to Titusville on Friday night and the evening fizzled for the Rockets as the Hounds came out on top 35 to 0.

Wilmington, the defending state AA football champion, is now 5-1 in the Region 3 Class AA with a 7-1 season so far.

The Hounds have two more regular games left in the season:

* Fri 10/30 7pm Hounds host Slippery Rock (Senior Night)
* Fri 11/6/09 7pm Hounds at Karns City

The Slippery Rock Rockets come to Greyhound Stadium for a game to broadcast on live television. WCN will carry the game on Friday night on Comcast Cable in Lawrence County and on Armstrong Cable in Lawrence, Mercer and Butler counties.

The game rebroacasts across Pennsylvania on Saturday night, Oct. 31, as the Pennsylvania Cable Network carries the WCN telecast as it's PCN Game of the Week.
