NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- The Westminster community came out for a massive picnic on the Quad outside of Old Main and the McKelvey Campus Center on a sunny Friday afternoon.
The great food and festivities punctuated public kick-off of a campus fundraising campaign aiming to generate $40 million dollars in donations to underwrite everything from scholarships to faculty development Organizers also revealed major news as they revealed Westminster has already raised more than $36-million.
Students, faculty and staff celebrated that major news by feasting on a slow roasted barbecue with all the fixings. WCN's Adam Carswell shows you how celebrating with great food accentuated the joyous mood of the day.
