NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Friday night saw the annual Music and Meatballs night hosted by the Westminster College concert choir club. This year organizers renamed the event to "Music and Beach Balls" because the group will travel to Florida for concerts.  The musical dining experience was held at the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church.

The Music and Meatballs event raises money for the annual trip that the concert choir club takes. Hannah Jaskiewicz the president of the concert choir club explained

“This year we are going to Florida and that's where we will sing at a number of churches ,”  club president Hannah Jaskiewicz said. “Traveling to Florida is obviously expensive and add accommodation on to that it becomes even more expensive. This event helps us lower the overall cost for each member.”

Jaskiewicz says they're still tallying up the money raised, but she says it will go a long way to help.
