Friday mornings are a treat. Last day of school or work, the weekend is only a day away, and J-Tresh in on Titan Radio.
Meet Jarred Treshok aka “J-Tresh” on Titan Radio. He is one of Titan Radio’s most popular Radio Personalities. Every Friday morning at 8, J-Tresh and his co-host DJ Benny take to the airwaves.
Jarred is a Junior Broadcast Communications Major from Sarver, PA. Initially, Jarred was a Mathematics Major. Only after a year in that field, Jarred realized it wasn’t his true calling. After discussion with family and friends Jarred made the decision to become a Broadcast Communication Major. Jarred shared his thoughts on the change.
“Math was not going to be what I was gonna do with my life. …I love to interact with people and talk. I saw that happening in Broadcasting. It was also my back up plan coming into college.”
Outside of broadcasting Jarred is an involved student. He makes sure to be involved as much as possible. Most notably he is the President of Frisbee Club and a member of S.W.A.T. He is also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Yes, that does include the Pirates. If either the Steelers or Penguins are on, you will find Jarred in front of the TV watching the game.
J-Tresh has found his home in sports broadcasting. Not only does his morning show talk about both local and nation sports, but he is the Play-by-Play announcer for the Titan’s Home games. Not to mention the host of Coachers Corner, where he interviews Coach Hand and other Titan Football Members.
Here are some Favorites of J-Tresh:
· Band: Skillet
· Quote: “Livin’ the Dream”
· Thing to do in Free Time: “What free time??”
Jarred’s life Theme Song is “The Show Goes On” by Lupe Fiasco. Why you ask?
“No matter what, the show must go on. Life doesn’t stop. Especially in the world of Broadcasting.”
