NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- It only appears for a few hours each Saturday morning through the regular growing season. It pops up out of no where on the corner of Market Street and Vine in New Wilmington. And you only have a few weekends left to experience it.
The New Wilmington Farmers' Market is where several local growers and vendors showcase everything from hand-made soaps to organic watermelons to fresh flowers.
Artisans bring handcrafted jewelry, borough residents share free-range chicken eggs and growers share the pick of their seasonal crops.
WCN reporter Joe Ligo gives us a video tour of the market and introduces us to some of the vendors who make it so special.
It's open on Saturday mornings 9-12 through October.
The farmers' market is sponsored by the New Wilmington Area Chamber of Commerce each growing season. Organizers invite you to visit the market's website or like it on Facebook.
