NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- The fall season is in full swing, and the weather is beginning to cool down outside. Fall sports schedules are blending with winter sports schedule, but there is one group on campus that does not change its schedule no matter what season it is.

Established in 2004, the Ultimate Frisbee Club (UFC) meets Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. As long as there are enough people to participate, the UFC plays through almost any weather condition.  The purpose of promoting the sport in a team atmosphere and to provide a learning and competitive environment for both men and women in this club sport.

Jarred Treshok is the president of the Frisbee club and says that playing in fall conditions can be a struggle sometimes.

"With the wind, it's really tough to flick a Frisbee across the field because the wind's just going cause havoc for anybody."

Treshok also knows that the cold weather hurts attendance, but states that everyone in attendance is committed to having a great time despite the cold.

"The fall does effect us in the ways of the temperature and the wind, but at the same time, we always find a way to play frisbee cause let's face it, we play in snow too, so it still works out well."

The Frisbee club welcomes anyone to join and there is no experience required. Just be ready to play, no matter what the weather.
