G.I.V.E Day contest winners revealed

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- G.I.V.E. Day organizers have revealed the winners for a variety of events and activities from Thursday.  G.I.V.E. Day is also known as Tuition Free Day. The Westminster College Student Philanthropy Program to celebrates the day of the year when tuition ends and the gifts from alumni begin to pay for the rest of the semester.  Here is a rundown of the winners from G.I.V.E officials:

·      913 Thank You Postcards written to Alumni Donors and Volunteers! (Last year 600 postcards were written)

·      Sorority with most thank you postcards written:  Alpha Gamma Delta

·      Fraternity with most thank you postcards written:  Theta Chi Student Door Decorating Contest Winner:  Sophia Yargo

·      Faculty/Staff Door Decorating Contest Winner: Economics & Business Department – Karen Coulter

·      Play It Forward Video Competition Winners:  “Phi Mu Thanks You!”

·      Highest no. of #GiveDay tweets:  Jaclyn Brown Jelly Bean Jar Winner:  Sarah Ebbert
