Garbage can crashed into car from Lawrence County overpass

PLAIN GROVE TOWNSHIP, Pa.-- State police say they are searching for someone who tossed a stolen garbage can from an Interstate-79 overpass in Plain Grove Township that smashed into a car and injured the driver on Saturday night.
Troopers say Jacqueline Truax of Allegheny County managed to drive her car to the side of the road and call for help after the garbage can shattered her roof and windshield. Shards of windshield glass to hit her in the eyes and she is recovering from a concussion. She was rushed to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment. She says she was driving home from work in Lawrence County when it happened.
The 50-gallon garbage can was stolen from a nearby house.
