Grove City Eagles defeat Wilmington 19-7

GROVE CITY, Pa.--  A weather delay and soggy field conditions seemed to help Grove City wear down Wilmington during the second game of the season for these Region 3 AA rivals on Friday night. 

The Grove City Eagles defeated the Wilmington Greyhounds by a score of 19-7.

The Eagles kept the ball moving while the Hounds struggled to recover from some key mistakes.  However, Hounds head coach Terry Verrelli says his team played hard and it's the kind of experience his younger members needed.
