Jogger struck and killed by vehicle in Mercer Co.

GROVE CITY, Pa.-- A Mercer County woman died after a truck struck her while she was jogging on Tuesday morning in in Pine Township.


State Police say 22-year old Megan Kays was jogging north on Airport Road when she tried to cross the street at an intersection.  Kays was struck by a box truck driven by 27-year old Veronica Salusky of Venango County.


Kays was taken to Grove City Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma.


State police say the investigation into the accident continues.
