KY man killed in Mercer Co. crash

STONEBORO, Pa. (AP)—State police say a Kentucky man is dead following a crash in Mercer County, and they plan to charge the driver of the car he was in with homicide by vehicle while driving drunk.

Troopers say 27-year-old Jonathan Newcomb, of Inez, Ky., was thrown from the car that crashed about 11 p.m. Saturday in Lake Township, Mercer County.

Police say the 32-year-old woman from Surf City, N.C. who was driving the car will be charged in the crash. She's currently being treated in a Pittsburgh hospital.

Police say the woman failed to make a sharp curve in the road before the car rolled in a field.
