ATLANTA, Ga. - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its Top 25 Academic Team Honor Rolls for the 2011-12 season today. The Westminster College women's basketball team tied 14th nationally in Division III with a 3.487 GPA.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes NCAA Divisions I, II and III; NAIA; and junior/community college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined grade point averages (GPAs) inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2011-12 season is the 17th in which the WBCA has produced the honor rolls.

In the 2011-12 season, the Lady Titans finished 9-16, including a 9-9 mark for fifth place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) standings. The Titans were led by tenth-year head coach Rosanne Scott, who reached her 130th all-time win. Westminster finished with two more wins than the previous season and they saved their best basketball for conference play. The nine PAC wins were the most the Titans have had since the 2006-07 season.
