Lady trapped in her house rescued by pharmacy worker

20-year old Dylan Buchanan,works for Rite-Aid in New Castle and Elllwood City, came to the rescue of a WIlmington area woman he was trying to delivery her medicine.

NEW CASTLE, Pa.-- A Lawrence County pharmacy worker comes to the rescue of an elderly Wilmington area woman who was trapped insider her house this week.  

Emergency crews and state police were called to the woman's home after 20-year old Dylan Buchanan called for help.  He went to her house to delivery medication from the Rite Aid where he works.  He called 911 when he heard the woman calling for help.  He was able to get into the home while on the phone with 911 and comforted her until paramedics arrived.

The unidentified woman, who lives alone, had fallen and could not reach the phone.  She told Buchanan she had been on the floor for days.  She is now in the hospital.  Her name and condition are not being released.
