Meet the Titan Terror 3 winner

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- A packed theater at Westminster's campus center served as the setting for the Titan Terror 3 mini-movie showcase where the winner of the  competition received her trophy and prizes.  Broadcast Communications major Chelsea Haybarger took home the top prize.  The junior took home the top prize with her digital short called The Cannibals of the Lake.in particular for their video's Creativity and Story  her 

Judges recognized Chelsea's movie in particular for the video's  creativity and overall story. She was awarded 460 dollars worth of prizes. After the Titan Terror 3 showcase on the read carpet Chelsea thanked her video production class.

Other winner's of the showcase include Stephen Bendig who won the audience choice award for his movie Tulpa. While the runner-up of the competition was the team of Julie Norris and Sean Schachner with an entry entitled Follow Me.  The judges recognized the entry for having an outstanding theme and technical production.

Entries were judges by two rounds of qualified judges on creativity, accordance with the Titan Terror Project theme to make a scary movie without the use of violence or gore, development of story, and production value.


The rest of the top ten finalists included three high school entries from both Lawrence and mercer counties, as well as student entries from Westminster College. They included:

•        Silent Asylum - Daniel Trotter, Uncle RJ Productions
•        Midnight Terror - Danny Jaskowak, Dannystepmary
•        On My Way - Jared Chapman, Chapkenzie Productions
•        Scarebrush - Kait Roth, Fabulous Films
•        School Terror - John LaMarca, T-Squared
•        Hunchback of Old Main - Casey McDonald, McDonald Productions
