Men's Basketball: Saint Vincent claims 2013 PAC championship over Thomas More

LATROBE, Pa.-- Top-seeded Saint Vincent College registered an 81-67 victory over third-seeded Thomas More College in the 2013 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament final Saturday evening at Saint Vincent’s Carey Center.
The PAC's 12th annual men's basketball championship tournament title is the first for the Saint Vincent men’s basketball program and 10th-year head coach DP Harris.
Saturday's first half of action saw the lead change hands eight times before Thomas More used a 9-4 spurt over the final 3:34 of the half to claim an eight point lead (36-28) heading into the break.

A pair of free throws by senior guard Chris Klimchock at the 11:23 mark of the second pulled the homestanding Bearcats to within one, 50-49, and a 13-3 run that covered the next 4:09 saw Saint Vincent jump out to a 62-53 lead with 7:14 remaining.
The Bearcat lead would swell to as many as 16 late before registering the 14-point victory.
Saint Vincent (23-5) was led by Klimchock's 22-point, four-rebound, four-assist effort. Junior guard Isaac Turner finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Junior forward Dillon Stith added 12 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
Thomas More (23-5) had three players finish in double figures, led by junior forward Josef Marshall’s 18 points and five rebounds. Junior guard Brandon Housley chipped in with 16 points, four rebounds, three blocks and three steals while junior guard D’Carlo Hayes chipped in with 14 points.
