Men's Soccer: Titans Bested By Geneva, 3-1, in Physical Match

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team lost, 3-1 in a physical Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Saturday, under the lights of Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans dropped to 8-3-1 overall and 2-1 in the PAC, while the Golden Tornadoes improved to 6-4-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference.
Westminster freshman Stephen McDaniel (Jamestown, NC / Southwest Guilford) scored the first goal of the game and fifth of the season at the 2:11 mark which put the Titans ahead 1-0.
Geneva would even the score, 1-1, after Jeb Nash scored at the 11:54 mark. Geneva would add another goal at the 42:28 mark and at the 52:12 frame.
For the game, there were 31 total fouls called. The Titans outshot Geneva 10-to-7. Both teams had five shots on goal.
Westminster senior goalie Adam Kephart (Beaver Falls, PA / Beaver County Christian) gathered in two saves in 90 minutes of play.
The Titans will travel to Thomas More Wednesday at 4 p.m.
