Men's Soccer: Titans Win 1-0 on Senior Day

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team won 1-0 on Senior Day over Thiel College on Tuesday night under the lights of Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans improved to 11-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, while the Tomcats dropped to 4-11-2 overall and 0-6-1 in the conference.


Westminster junior David Osae (Bedford, TX / Lawrence D. Bell) scored his team-leading third game-winner of the season at the 62:59 mark in the second half. Freshman Ethan McCarthy (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) earned the assist.


Titan senior goalie Adam Kephart (Beaver Falls, PA / Beaver County Christian) gathered in two saves, while the Westminster's offense outshot Thiel 14-to-8 and had a corner kick advantage of 7-to-1.


During pregame, Westminster recognized seniors Kephart, Josh Auden (Lake Milton, OH / Jackson Milton), Josh Cantella (Freedom, PA / Freedom), Cody Culp (East Liverpool, OH / East Liverpool), and Zach Meluch (Newton Falls, OH / Southeast).


Westminster will travel to Grove City on Saturday at 12 p.m. for its final regular season match.
