BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Westminster College men's soccer team made it three-straight victories following a 2-0 win at D'Youville Wednesday night. This was the first time Westminster has won three-straight games since 2009. The Titans improved to 3-0 overall, while the Spartans dropped to 0-3.

Westminster freshman Matthew Romeo(Laurel, MD / Atholton) scored the first goal of the game and of his career at the 28:33 mark off a corner kick in the first half. Classmate Marcus Gurgiolo (Edinburg, PA / Mohawk Area) picked up the assist. Romeo's goal was the fifth different goal by a Titan freshman this season.

Westminster Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Titan of the Week senior Josh Cantella (Freedom, PA/Freedom) added insurance in the second half (46:30) as he dribbled past the Spartans defense and shot from 18 yards out. This was Cantella's team-leading third goal on the year.

The Titans are back in action when they travel to Penn State-Altoona Friday at 7 p.m.
