Mercer County man gets 35 years for producing child porn

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Mercer County man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for producing child pornography.

Prosecutors say 44-year-old Armando Cruz of Mercer was sentenced Wednesday. Cruz took nude photos and videos of four underage girls in 2011 and sent them to men in Denver and San Diego. Those men have been charged, too.

Cruz was also sentenced to supervised release for the rest of his life, if he gets out of jail.
