New Wilmington Borough adds new part-time officer

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Local police added one more officer to their ranks. Mayor Wendell Wagner discussed the addition of part-time officer David McBride at the September 4^th borough meeting.  Wagner says they hired McBride as an addition to the other officers, rather than a replacement for someone.  Wagner explained that part timers often help fill in when other officers have outside commitments.

Police Chief Carmen Piccirillo said at the meeting McBride has done well so far and will continue his training.
