  • College to Celebrate Independence Day with Concert and Fireworks July 3

    Westminster College will host an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration with a free concert and fireworks Wednesday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Brittain Lake.

  • Dr. Gorver PItman Remembering Dr. Grover Pitman

    Professor of Music Dr. Grover Pitman, 69, was an active member of the faculty since 1978.  He was born in 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas.  He received his doctorate in historical musicology from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.  

  • e-recycling AV Services Holds Most Successful E-Recycling Drive to Date

    Westminster College's Audio Visual (AV) Services hosted an electronics recycling drive April 20 that netted more than 13,000 pounds of recycled electronics, slightly besting their previous record drive in the spring of 2012, and bringing the total weight of recycled e-waste from the bi-annual drives to more than 70,000 pounds.

    Westminster's Relay is organized each year by the Alpha Nu chapter of national fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi. There were 16 teams and 167 participants registered before the event and a number who arrived and signed up onsite.
