Other important events for AV week include the E-Recycling Drive, the Museum Reveal, the AV Service and Support Award, and more soon to be announced.
The E-Recycling Drive will be Saturday October 20th at the Hoyt Loading Dock. From 9am to 12am, anyone and everyone is welcome to bring their old technology. Now is the best time to recycle thos old computers, TVs, and other electronics. Thanks to a new law that passed in 2011, Consumers no longer need to pay on select items to recycle them. This has been an incredible successful event for AV Week as well. Over the past 2 years, AV has collected over 45,000 pounds of equipment.
AV services will also be unveiling some old equipment on their page with the Museum Site Reveal. AV has been collecting old Audio Visual equipment to show how technology has been progressing over the years. Items include projectors, audio players, cameras, and more. AV’s museum can be found down the hall from their main office.
AV week is expected to shine brighter than ever this year. The titan Terror showcase exemplifies the wonders of what AV technology can do. AV Services hopes to see you at their evens starting October 15th!
