DELAWARE, Ohio – Westminster College senior Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, PA / Waynesburg) broke the school record in the pole vault as select members of the Titan outdoor track & field teams competed in the Great Lakes Final Qualifying Meet. Ohio Wesleyan University hosted the event.

Kalsey’s first-place jump was 13 feet, 6.25 inches (4.12m), breaking her own school mark of 13 feet, 3.5 inches (4.05m) that she set in 2015. Her mark at Ohio Wesleyan currently stands second among Division III counterparts.

Also, senior Brooke Mancuso (Wexford, PA / North Allegheny) placed third in the pole vault with a season-best mark of 12 feet, 4.75 inches (3.78m), ranking 17th in the nation. Junior Hailey Hall (Grove City, PA / Grove City Area) placed fourth (12’0.75″/3.68m).

Junior Max Ungerman (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) placed seventh in the javelin (159’/48.47m).

Qualified Titans will compete in the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Nationals Thursday-Saturday, May 25-May 27. The Nationals will be held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
