NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Students and faculty will soon forget all the term papers and all the cramming for final exams.  However, for Spanish professor Joel Postema the memories of his spring adventure away from campus will endure.  He spent a week on a trip to the Dominican Republic where he joined forces with other members of the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church on a mission trip.

Postema recounts his journey to the Caribbean nation where he served as a medical translator.

Meanwhile, service was also a core element of the spring break excursion to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado by Titan Traverse.  The Westminster-based adventure organization folded service into its outdoor challenge.  Find out how they helped preserve the trails before they took to mountaineering and biking in the Rockies.  Titan Traverse member Rachael Wetzel shares her memories of her adventures out west and how service comes out in the mission of leadership with the Titan Traverse crew.
