SRU student killed in traffic accident

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.-- Officials at Slippery Rock University say memorial ervices are pending for 21-year old John Tyler Stufflebeam, a senior physical education major from Warren, Pa. Stufflebeam who was killed when he was thrown from the vehicle in which he was riding in after it collided with a tractor trailer at the intersection of Route 8 and Branchton Road about 2:35 a.m., Saturday.

Four other occupants of the vehicle, all SRU students, were taken to Grove City Medical Center where they were treated and released. No further details are available at this time.
