Trick-or-treating in the campus residence halls is a regular tradition at Westminster College.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- New Wilmington showed it was ahead of the storm when it held trick-or-treat on Saturday afternoon over the weekend.  The Borough has traditionally scheduled trick-or-treat on Saturday afternoons to promote a safe, family-friendly backdrop for the event.  For many other Lawrence County communities, this coming Saturday will serve as the date for trick-or-treat.  Shenango Township was one of the first to make the change because of Superstorm Sandy.

Here are some of the trick-or-treat schedule changes communities have posted online for Saturday :

Following are the new times, all on Saturday, Nov. 3:

Hickory Township:  2-4 p.m.

Neshannock Township: 2-4 p.m.

New Castle: 2-4 p.m.

Shenango Township:  2-4 p.m.

Union Township:  2-4 p.m.

Slippery Rock Township: 6-8 p.m.

Meanwhile, Wilmington Township in Lawrence County continues to list trick-or-treat hours for Wednesday, Oct. 31: 6-8 p.m.
