Volleyball Goes 3-1 at Saint Vincent Tourney

LATROBE, Pa. - After going 1-1 in day one of the Saint Vincent Tournament, the Westminster College volleyball team finished strong with two sweeps on Saturday. The Titans won 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-18) against Franciscan in game one and 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-17) versus Carlow in game two.


Junior Katie Palkovic (Camp Hill, PA / Trinity) led Westminster with 67 total assists for the day. Senior Tara Incerpi (Carrollton, OH / Minerva) had a combined 46 digs to go along with five aces. On the attack, sophomores Kassie Freyermuth (Allison Park, PA / North Allegheny) and Megan Romocean (Ravenna, OH / Southeast) added seven and 10 kills respectively.


The Titans are back on the court September 7 as they travel to the Marcia French Memorial Invitational hosted by Baldwin-Wallace.
