Volleyball: Titans Drop to Thomas More in Regular Season Finale, Set for PAC Tournament

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College volleyball team dropped, 0-3 (18-25, 20-25, 22-25) against Thomas More in its final regular season match on Saturday night. The Titans fell to 21-10 overall and 11-7 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while the Saints improved to 23-5 overall and 16-1 in the conference.


Westminster junior Katie Palkovic (Camp Hill, PA / Trinity) led the Titans with a double-double that consisted of 23 assists and 16 digs. Junior Megan Romocean (Ravenna, OH / Southeast) and freshman Megan Prybyl (Mars, PA / North Catholic) led the Titan attack with six kills each. Senior Tara Incerpi (Carrollton, OH / Minerva) had a team-high 18 digs, while junior Rebecca Riemer (Pittsburgh, PA / Mount Lebanon) had a team-high three blocks. 

Westminster clinched the fifth seed in the 2012 PAC tournament and will travel to the no. 4 seeded Geneva on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
