NEW WILMINGTON-- Wilmington Area High School band director Gary Taylor says farewell to the district as he retires after 32 years. He’s shaped generations of students who hold a special place in their hearts for him. He’ll continue to watch and cheer for the young performers in the school district, but now he’ll be in the audience.
Summer band camp will not be the same for the Wilmington Area Marching Band, but Taylor is confident they will carry on and do well in the years to come.
