NEW CASTLE, Pa.–  New Castle City Police have identified a West Virginia woman who died after a hit-and-run crash in Lawrence County on Sunday.  They say 19-year-old Alissa Jones, from Greenbrier, died at a Youngstown hospital two days later.

Police report that Jones was getting out of a car on Center Avenue in Taylor Township when she was hit struck by a tractor-trailer.

NCPD officers say they have been able to identify and locate the suspected vehicle and suspected driver involved in the incident.  Search warrants have been and are being executed on the suspect vehicle, and interviews are ongoing.
