NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.– Most Westminster students know about western Pennsylvania because they grew up in the region. However, some are new to Keystone State.
The Admissions Office issued a report of 370 new incoming students at the beginning of Fresh Start. That number will continue to fluctuate as some students will leave. There are 18 new transfers and there are 2 new internationals, not including any exchange students.
Several of the members of the Class of 2020 are out-of-state residents. One hails from Alaska.
Here’s a breakdown of the numbers from new and transfer students the Westminster College Admissions Office identified at the start of the new fall semester.

- New York-6
- New Jersey-4
The Class of 2020 continues a trend of students recruited from southern states like Florida. These students will soon learn discover they’ll need coats, gloves and boots when winter arrives.
