PITTSBURGH- (Titan Athletics) – Westminster College junior Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH / Lisbon David Anderson) defeated Pitt-Bradford’s Johnny Fiore in a one-hole playoff to claim medalist honors at the La Roche College Invitational on Tuesday.

Andric shot a 76 at the par-71 course. As a team, Westminster tied for sixth with a 327 out of 10 schools.

Rounding out the top-four scorers for the Titans were sophomore Kolby Montgomery (Rimersburg, PA / Union) (82/T-23rd), freshman Michael Bell (Canonsburg, PA / Peters Township) (83/T-28th), and senior Connor White (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) (83/T-28th).

Also competing for Westminster was sophomore Connor Chirdon (Cheswick, PA / Deer Lakes) (85/t-40th) and freshman John Popa (Salem, OH / South Range) (85/t-40th).

Saint Vincent won as a team with a score of 316.

The Titans will next compete in the two-day Mount Union Invitational, starting on Saturday, September 22.
