ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. – Hundreds of people will line the main streets of Ellwood City, Pa to celebrate the Christmas season with their annual “Home for the Holidays” Christmas parade on Saturday, December 1st, 2018.
The parade will march down Lawrence Avenue at 3:30 p.m. It will start at the intersection of Fourth Street and Lawrence, and end at the intersection of Eighth Street and Lawrence.
Ellwood City’s “Let There Be Light’s” weekend festivities will kick off this Friday, November 30th, 2018. With a free matinee of “The Santa Clause,” in the Lincoln High School Auditorium from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
And continue with Light Up Night on Lawrence Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring vendors, food, music, and free carriage rides. The Lighting of the Christmas Tree and fireworks at the community plaza will also occur at 6:30 p.m.
The celebration will conclude on Saturday night from 5:30 to 9:00. Capped off with the opening of Christmas in the Park, at Ewing Park. You can enjoy Santa, free carriage rides, and some fun holiday decorations.
