NEW CASTLE, Pa.-- Lawrence County is currently taking applications for the COVID-19 Business Interruption Grant Program.  This week, County Commissioner Morgan Boyd announced that businesses can submit applications.

"If your business meets the grant requirements, you can qualify for up to $25,000.00 in emergency COVID-19 funding," Boyd posted on Facebook.

The business application went live on Tuesday and remain open until Friday, July 24 at 11:59pm. You can apply at co.lawrence.pa.us/cares-act.

Lawrence County can use the small business grant programs to “support businesses with fewer than 100 employees with priority given to those businesses that did not receive a loan or grant through the federal Paycheck Protection Program or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program established under the CARES Act.”
