Shoutout to Westminster College grad Adam Plyler (2011) as he switches stations inside Gray Television.  He takes over as assistant news director at WSAZ-TV (NBC) in Huntington, W.Va., from his current assignment as the news director at WDTV (CBS) in Clarksburg.

Plyler is familiar with WSAZ where he once served tas the six o’clock news producer.

Plyler, a New Castle native, has a B.A. in Broadcast Communications.  He’s also held positions at WOWK-TV (Huntington), WKPT-TV (the former ABC affiliate in Kingsport TN), and Lincoln Memorial University.

At Westminster College, Adam served as an announcer for live TV and radio broadcasts of Titan football and basketball games.  He also worked in the newsroom as an anchor and reporter for WCN and Titan Radio.

Gray Television operates over 100 television stations across 57 television markets that covering nearly 11 percent of total United States television households.

We want to give a big shout out to Adam and wish him great things in his new position.
