NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa.-- Westminster College head swimming coach Pat Smith and his family have shared their story a life-saving transplant for their daughter Emma. The now 4-year old was born with a rare genetic liver disease.

Last March, with the compassion and help from a former Westminster co-worker participating in a living donor program, little Emma received a transplant.

The Smith's talked with reporter Debbie Wachter at the New Castle News detailing the family's journey and gratitude along with the compassion and courage of donor Landis Erwin. You can access the full story online here, Living donor a 'miracle' for Neshannock child.
