NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westminster College has launched the spring semester with a mix of in-person and hybrid classes under what the institution calls a quiet phase.  The return to campus with students moving into residence halls and training underway for athletic teams included campus-wide testing for COVID-19.

The College administered over 1,300 tests to students, faculty and staff with a positivity rate of 1%.  College officials report they identified 10 other positive cases through pre-arrival screening requirements.

Regular campus activity operating under state and federal guidelines started on Friday as part of the College’s pandemic plan.   The plan calls for surveillance testing protocols that will go out to the campus community soon.
