NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westminster College announced the cancellation of the annual July 3 concert and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day.   The decision came this week as organizers are faced with the ongoing pandemic crisis and the need to continue social distancing.

This event has continued for three decades along the shore of Brittain Lake in New Wilmington.  It has attracted up to 10,000 people in recent years.
