Diving: Titans Host Annual Rich Sentner Invite

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's and women's diving teams competed in the annual Westminster Rich Sentner Diving Invite at home on Saturday afternoon.

For the women, junior Zoe Cable (Brookville, PA / Brookville Area) led the way in the 3 meter dive with a score of 168.10 to finish ninth. Cable recorded a score of 179.95 in the 1 meter event to finish 12th.

Sophomore Jamie Elia (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) led the way in the 1 meter dive, as she tied for 10th place with a mark of 183.45. Senior Kaitlyn Fast (Wooster, OH / Wooster) placed 14th in the 1 meter dive with a score of 169.00 and finished 11th in the 3 meter dive with a score of 166.65. Sophomore Gayner Rossi (Trenton, MI / Trenton) finished 15th in the 3 meter dive and 18th in the 1 meter dive with scores of 152.25 and 136.45, respectively.

For the men, Junior Connor May (Highlands Ranch, CO / Glacier Park) claimed victory in the 1 meter dive with a mark of 257.70, while sophomore Austin Shaw (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) was right behind in second place with a score of 249.10. Sophomore Patrick Holton (Livonia, MI / Winston Churchill) placed fourth with a score of 213.10. In the 3 meter event, Holton was victorious with a score of 267.65, while Shaw finished in second with a score of 237.90

Westminster will be back in action on Wednesday, February 12 when it competes in the first day of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships.
