Indoor Track & Field: Titans in Action in Akron

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Members of the Westminster College indoor track & field teams were in action on Saturday.

Titan junior Dalton Anderson (Butler, PA / Moniteau) improved his school-record mark in the heptathlon with a fifth-place finish of 4,266 points at the exclusive University of Akron's Collegiate Invitational.

Also on Saturday, members of Westminster's pole vault team competed in The University of Mount Union's Jim Wuske Collegiate Invitational. Sophomore Morgan Gossard (Johnstown, PA / Richland) represented Westminster with a first-place finish with a season-best mark of 12'0.75" (3.68m). Titan first-year Emma Rudolph (Santa Clarita, CA / Golden Valley) placed second with leap of 11 feet, 1 inch (3.38m). Sophomore Jonathan Micsky (Greenville, PA / Greenville) finished best for the Westminster men with a sixth-place jump (13'1¾"/4.01m).

The Titans are next scheduled to be in action Saturday, Feb. 22 at Kent State University.
