Titans compete in PAC women's tennis championship this week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westminster College will participate in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament as begins with quarterfinal round action Tuesday afternoon.
This year's PAC Championship Tournament features a six-team championship bracket format.
Top-seeded Westminster College and No. 2 Franciscan University will receive quarterfinal byes. 
Tuesday’s quarterfinal matches, hosted by No. 3 Grove City College and No. 4 Washington & Jefferson College, will be played using the nine-point team format played to completion.
Friday’s semifinals and Saturday's championship match will also utilize the nine-point team format with matches played to decision (first team to 5 individual match wins). This weekend's matches will be hosted by Washington & Jefferson College at its on-campus Janet Swanson Tennis Center, which has served as the home site for the Presidents’ teams since 2015. 
The winner of the PAC Championship Tournament will receive the conference's automatic-qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The field for this year’s Division III Championship is scheduled to be announced Monday, May 10 with first, second and third rounds slated for Friday-Sunday, May 14-16.
