Wilmington's Phillian named 2020 Class 2A Coach of the Year

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Pennsylvania Football Writers named Wilmington Area High School head coach Brandon Phillian as the 2020 PIAA Class 2A Coach of the Year this week.

 

Phillian, a Westminster College alumn, coached the WilmingtonGreyhounds to the District 10 and Class 2A championship. 

 

This is the second time Phillian has received the coach of the year title. In 2018, his first year as the Greyhound head coach, Phillian received the honor after Wilmington took the state championship.

 

Phillian teaches mathematics. He took over the head football coaching duties from Terry Verrelli.
