Women’s Golf: Titans Break School Record in Day 1 of Kyle Campbell Memorial

MARSHALL, Mich. – The Westminster women's golf team broke a school record on the first day of the Kyle Campbell Memorial, hosted by Olivet College, on Friday. The Titans carded a 323 (+35), breaking the school record for low round vs. par set by the team last year at the Westminster Spring Invite (327, +39). Westminster is currently second out of 16 schools.  

Junior Erika Hoover (New Castle, PA / Wilmington Area) is currently tied for seventh out of 103 players with a 78, followed closely behind by classmate Kasey Clifford (Longport, NJ / Ocean City) who is tied for ninth with a 79. Sophomore Morgan Byers (Venetia, PA / Peters Township) also finished in the top-15 for Westminster as she tied for 13th with an 80. Rounding out the Titan scorers was sophomore Sierra Richard (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) who tied for 33rd (86). Also competing for the Titans were juniors Baylee Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) and Olivia Ledbetter (Tarrs, PA / Southmoreland) who sit tied for 94th (102). 

Day two of the Kyle Campbell Memorial starts tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
