MERCER, Pa. (AP) — Police say two teenagers were killed and two others seriously injured in a weather-related crash on Interstate 80 in Mercer County.  Troopers say weather was a factor in a three-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers

State police say an SUV carrying the four was traveling east in snowy weather when it crashed into a tractor-trailer Sunday evening in Mercer County near the Ohio border. Another tractor-trailer then crashed into the wreck.

The Mercer County Coroner identified the victims as 16-year old Alexis Myers and 15-year old Danielle Nelson.  Both were from the Hermitage area.

Police say the two injured juveniles were taken to a Pittsburgh hospital with serious injuries. The drivers of the tractor-trailers were uninjured.

The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed into the early morning. Traffic was detoured.

The crash is being investigated.
