NEW CASTLE, Pa.– The Lawrence County Fair celebrates its 65th year when it kicks off on Monday, August 13.  The Fair runs through Saturday, August 18, at the Fairgrounds on SR 108 across from Laurel High School.  Activities this year include fireworks, an ax throwing competition, rodeo events, a midway and amusement rides and food vendors, demolition derby, livestock shows, live music, and more.

Organizers say the annual Lawrence County Fair is one of the largest agricultural fairs in Pennsylvania.

The volunteer-operated event celebrates the farming heritage of the local communities.
