NDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Westminster College freshman Connor May (Highlands Ranch, CO/Glacier Park) competed in his final event at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday. May placed 14th in the 1-meter dive, with a score of 425.30, for All-America Honorable Mention status.

May earned All-America honors Wednesday evening after his fifth-place finish on the three-meter board on the opening day of the Championships. He finished with 502.10 points during the 11-dive championship. He posted 473.80 points in the preliminaries earlier in the day. May was one of just two freshmen to compete in the championship final.

May, the first-ever Westminster diver to qualify for the Division III Championships, clinched an automatic berth in the Championships after winning the three-meter event at the Division III Region 4 Championships on March 3. He finished with 544.25 points at the regional championships.

The Division III Championships are being held at the newly-renovated Indiana University Natatorium on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus, with Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corp serving as co-hosts.
