NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men’s tennis team competed against Baldwin Wallace University at home on Saturday afternoon.

Titan freshman Collin Kelly (McDonald, PA / Canon MacMillan) fought hard in his number six singles match, losing 7-5, 6-1 in his home debut as a Titan. Fellow Titan freshman Miguel Ascencio (Venitia, PA / Peters Township) and Alex Georgescu (Hermitage, PA / Hickory) also competed in their first home match as a Titan.

Westminster concluded their 2017 season and will start again in the spring of 2018 as they take on Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Geneva College on Thursday, March 22. Start time is at 6 p.m.

6. Alex Papke (BW-M) def. Colin Kelly (WES) 7-5, 6-1

Doubles Competition:
1. Dominic Polifrone/Matt Harris (BW-M) def. Miguel Ascencio/A.J. May (WES) 8-5
2. Jake Elbin/Alex Papke (BW-M) def. Alex Georgescu/Yu-Hsien Lin (WES) 8-1
